Erythrulose is a naturally derived keto-sugar obtained through the fermentation of erythritol. It is widely used in sunless tanning formulations, where it reacts with amino acids in the skin’s surface layer to create a gradual, natural-looking tan. When used in combination with DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), erythrulose enhances tanning uniformity, reduces streaking, and extends the longevity of the tan, while providing a smoother fade.

How To Use

Recommended usage level: Maximum allowable concentration of erthyulose for dermal cosmetic use is 2.4%.
Formulation tips: Add to the water phase. Erythulose performs best at a finished product pH of 4.5-5.5.
Storage: Keep refridgerated at 4-8°C.
