Triethyl Citrate is a clear, odourless liquid ester derived from citric acid and ethanol. It is widely used in cosmetics and personal care formulations as a solvent, plasticiser and stabiliser. In deodorant products, it functions as a natural deodorising agent by inhibiting the enzymatic breakdown of sweat components that cause odour. It also helps to stabilise emulsions, improve product spreadability and reduce tackiness.
